Tykoon Agency is hiring a temporary Social Media Intern for a three-day on-site event activation in Washington, DC, September 10-12, 2026.
Paid, short-term, in person. You'll be on the ground with our team capturing and turning around social-first content in real time — Stories, Reels, street-interview clips, and daily recaps for Instagram and TikTok.
What you'll do
- Capture vertical video and Stories on-site throughout the event day
- Run street-interview style clips (two people in frame) with attendees and speakers
- Edit and turn around short-form content same-day for IG and TikTok
- Write caption copy and help build the daily social recap
- Keep footage organized and handed off cleanly at the end of each day
What we're looking for
- 1+ year of hands-on social media experience — internship, campus role, freelance, or your own brand
- Currently in college and looking for paid work (preferred, not required)
- Comfortable shooting on iPhone and editing in CapCut, Premiere, or similar
- Confident walking up to people and getting them on camera
- Based in the DC area or able to get yourself to the venue
- Available Thu Sept 10 and Fri Sept 11, 8am-8pm ET; Sat Sept 12 optional
